What is a digitisation request?
A digitisation request is a way of getting important book chapters, pages or journal articles scanned and put onto the eLibrary to be read online via a secured login. (Cannot be printed, downloaded or copied)
How much can be scanned?
Only one chapter or 5% of a book or one journal article is permitted to be digitised under the license.
Digitisation Decision Tree
Only one chapter or 5% of a book or one journal article is permitted to be digitised under the license.

How long will it take to available in the E-Library?
Digitisations are done on a first-come, first-served, basis. Digitisation requests should be submitted at least 3 weeks before the item is required and waiting times for documents are dependent on the current total number of requests. The process could take longer if the item to be scanned is not available in the Library stock or requested material is on loan. Please login to your Library account to check the status of your requests.
