St Patrick’s Library seeks to provide students with access to all taught course reading materials. Academic staff can now submit their Reading Lists via the Library website.
St Patrick’s Library seeks to provide students with access to all taught course reading materials. In order to do this, we rely upon academic staff sending reading lists to the Library.
Reading list submission can now be made via the Library website. To submit your reading list please log on to your library account and click on ‘Submit Reading List’. Submitted reading lists will be available on the Library website which provides a more intuitive and up to date interface with easy search of lists
Reading List service allows academic staff to;
- Send a new reading list for a module
- Update the existing reading list of a module
- Check the availability, quantity of reading list materials
- Read the E- Materials from the list
Why Providing the Reading List is Important?
- To ensure the resources are available at the right time and in sufficient numbers to meet the learning and teaching objectives by purchasing, assigning to right loan types and digitising
- To improve the efficiency of the acquisition of reading list material by the Library
- To Increase student satisfaction in terms of resource availability and accessibility
